If life wasn't crazy enough with working on our home, Ryan and I getting used to living together after having opposite schedules, trying to figure out my place in the photography world, enjoying our adorable lil' nephews Evan, Forrest, and Levi plus Vivian, our adorable niece... Ryan and I also have a puppy or at least is the size of one, Jack, who is a Jack Russell mix! How fun and YES, and a little crazy, but we wouldn't have it any other way!

I am a student, again!

After about 6 years of being out of college, I’ve decided to go back for some more fun.

Today, I signed up for Photography 101 at GRCC! Starting September 2nd, I will be fighting the crowds for a parking spot, carrying around a heavy book bag, and hopefully not being the oldest student in the class… I’M SO EXCITED!

Since I have my Friday’s off due to my work schedule, it worked out perfect for me to take the class which goes from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Besides, now my drive is only 10 minutes compared to 45 minutes it took me when I was a freshman living at home.

Years and years and YEARS ago, my mom got her start to photography by signing up for Photography 101 when at that time it was “junior college”. I can only hope that my photographs can some day live up to hers!

Hard to believe I’m back being a student… but it’s so much easier when it’s something you enjoy! :)
