If life wasn't crazy enough with working on our home, Ryan and I getting used to living together after having opposite schedules, trying to figure out my place in the photography world, enjoying our adorable lil' nephews Evan, Forrest, and Levi plus Vivian, our adorable niece... Ryan and I also have a puppy or at least is the size of one, Jack, who is a Jack Russell mix! How fun and YES, and a little crazy, but we wouldn't have it any other way!

Better Late than Never - MCP Project 12 February Love or Leap

Siting watching tv on February 29, I FINALLY got some inspiration to do my first post for MCP Project 12 BUT I was too late. :( I figured I'd still share! :)  Pictured are a few "loves" in my life that were siting on my side table all of February... my husband on our wedding day, my best friend who is my sister Jill who is with my lil' nephew, Forrest! The card was sent to me by my grandparents who I miss everyday!
Hopefully in March I can get on top of my project sooner! :)

Happy birthday, Jillian...who is a Leap year baby and turned 7 today! :) So really my pictures represents both "love and leap"!

Beginner DSLR Class - Ashley Made and Posh Photography

Mom and I follow both photographer's blogs and when we saw that they were offering a class we couldn't pass it up... especially since they are both wonderful baby and children/family photographers! During the class we learned the basics of how to use your camera in manual, which is pretty much the only way I photograph these days! Than got pointers on how to take photographs of children. Ashley and Kasey brought in their daughters to be our models! Here are a few cute shots!

Looking forward to using these skills in the upcoming months! :)

Just Messing Around...

Here are a few shots I couldn't resist capturing while leaving a workshop put on by Ashley Made Photography and Posh Photography at 111 Godfrey. Such a cool building! For editing, I used the action "Seventies" from Pioneer Women.

More shots to come from workshop itself!
