If life wasn't crazy enough with working on our home, Ryan and I getting used to living together after having opposite schedules, trying to figure out my place in the photography world, enjoying our adorable lil' nephews Evan, Forrest, and Levi plus Vivian, our adorable niece... Ryan and I also have a puppy or at least is the size of one, Jack, who is a Jack Russell mix! How fun and YES, and a little crazy, but we wouldn't have it any other way!

Etsy MAIL!

Today my hair flower came and its PERFECT! Not the flower I put up cause that one was more off white, not stark white! I told her I needed the whitest flower she had to match my dress and she got me one that is just like a dahlia, which will be one of the flower in my and the girls bouquets and on the tables! Can't wait to see the whole package! My dress should come any day... than I can start thinking about veils (yes plural cause I so want a bird cage veil besides a traditional veil)!

I also got a present that I'm giving one of my brides! I've order a few things for her but this is the first thing to come! Both I had customize to fit her wedding! Too bad I have to wait until her bach party to give them to her... only a few weeks though! :) My lil' Jilly will flip! :D

They are Done! :)

I got the call Friday that the gift I had custom made for my bridesmaids is DONE! The stores hours are only until 5 p.m. so I'm getting out early to go pick them up tomorrow.

Whats funny is, another lady at work had one also custom made for her and she had brought it in to show it off! I talked to her about it and she said the store owner was laughing with her about a girl who had ordered 5 for her wedding party! I was like "hey, thats ME"! :)

On my way home from Caledonia, I'm going to make a quick stop at the mall and pick up the girl's sandals! Than all we have to do is find jewelry of some sort and they are all good to go!

Mom and Sue picked up the rest of the fabric for the tables decor. Sue is hard at work getting those ready! I also assigned mom to finding ribbon for personalizing our invites and finding paper for adding inserts to the invites, for the programs, and to use for the table names!

Still in need of someone to marry us and transportation! :-/ Sort of big things...

Future Craft Project

Oh Pottery Barn... how much I love you BUT I'm not that much of a sucker to pay $7.50 for a mason jar candle lantern! BOOO!!! Especially one as small as a pint jar!

CRAFT PROJECT AHEAD!

Mom has almost been begging me to make something on our own! I said no to the flowers... TOO much work... and didn't think her making the napkin holders would beat the price of $0.31! So I've let her have this fight and we will make our isle decor.

After visiting a florists website in the area... we got the idea to incorporate our mason jar theme to the ceremony! Unsure if we will use the blue or get regular mason jars to make lanterns to hang from the end of the isle chairs with flowers.

The trickiest part is trying to find the right gauge of wire! I'll keep ya posted.... who knows when well get started but I have confidence in us that ours will look just as good as Pottery Barn and cost us half the price!

New Dresses I'm in Love WITH!

I've got a dress fetish! :) I have a new dress that has caught my fancy for a rehearsal dress and yes, it is just like the bridesmaid dresses I picked for the girls but from J.Crew!

Sad to say... I am clueless to what color I would want! Like I like the color on the model but they have some other great colors that would be super cute too! AHHH!

Just have to keep an eye on a sale/deal... since it costs more than the bridesmaid dresses!

IRRR!!!

SO yeah, Jill and mom went to get Jill sized for her bridesmaid dress and well... they had the bridesmaids dress in to see! IRRRR! Two weeks after we went in to order the first dress and they get it! Jenni, Vanessa and I made a special trip months ago to Fowler to see this dress... IRRR to Spring Lake at the moment!

BUT... the dresses will come in July for the girls... and I can't wait to see them! :D

What do you think?

Mom and I are very detail oriented... down to napkin rings!?!

If you take a look at my original inspirational picture... they used 3" grapevine wreaths (what some websites call them) as napkin rings!

I've kept my eye on them and have found them for about $0.31 each which includes shipping. Which is better than I bought them for at Michaels where they were $0.49 each.

Do you think this extra little touch on the table is something I should do?

On the tables will be a white table cloth, yard size square of tan burlap over the table cloth, a square size blue napkin in the middle with the quart size mason jar with stones and flowers, pint size mason jar with corks, a blue wine bottle holding the table "name", 4 frosted candles, with the place setting and white napkins... with maybe grapevine napkin rings! OH... don't forget the extra special guest favors! ;)

Here is an example of the napkin ring on the napkin we are using like fabric for the decor of the middle of the table that the jars and bottle will sit on!

I feel like a great looking table is hug thing! A room can look awesome but if nothing is on the table you don't have that WOW factor, in my opinion! I'm all about a great looking table :D.... I don't like mirrors, fake flowers, or tealight candles... you won't be seeing any of those on my tables ;).

SO EXCITED!

I made my first purchase on Etsy! I've had my eye on it for awhile... but I just was questioning the size of the flower compared to my head! I finally said "what the heck" and ordered it this week!

The idea is to wear it similar to the pic, to the side of my head, with my hair loose and messy, maybe throw in a little braid going back, to come to the nape of my neck in a bun. Than put my veil in underneath for the ceremony and for the pictures downtown GH and the reception wear the birdcage veil, hiding the clip under the flower.
Anywho... I'm looking forward to receiving this package... my dress should come in any time... than I will atleast get to see my dress, shoes, and hair flower togehter! :D
