If life wasn't crazy enough with working on our home, Ryan and I getting used to living together after having opposite schedules, trying to figure out my place in the photography world, enjoying our adorable lil' nephews Evan, Forrest, and Levi plus Vivian, our adorable niece... Ryan and I also have a puppy or at least is the size of one, Jack, who is a Jack Russell mix! How fun and YES, and a little crazy, but we wouldn't have it any other way!

Productive Weekend

This was one weekend, in months, we really didn't have anything planned to do! Lucky for us, our kitchen and living room blinds came that Wednesday and Ryan was itching to put them up! Right when he got home Friday, he was ready to get prepping for hanging them. We did run in to a few set backs... walking on the countertop by the kitchen sink loosened a pipe causing all the paint he just washed down the drain to come flowing out the cupboard. Thankfully an easy fix, just had to start with spring cleaning under the sink! Paint ended up on the carpet in one spot when we found out the roller was too big for our small paint job but with Ryan's quick moves he got it out before we ended up with flooring the same color as our walls. When the finished product finally got on the wall... it was all well worth it!

Makes our house feel so much different! Prior, we had blinds that were ment for a slider since custom blinds had to be made for both windows which costs $$$!

I also decided, with a little help from Ryan, to buy a new iPod! I am the new owner of a beautiful itty-bitty pink iPod nano! Still not sure about the size... since its still sitting in its itty-bitty packaging but I couldn't reason with myself to why I need an iPod touch when I just want music... and I knew atleast from my old iPod that a iPod classic would be way too big for the amount of music I have or plan to have! I'm still on the search for a case. I know, I know, its suppose to be just clipped to your shirt but I am a person that likes to keep my possessions as nice as possible... for examlpe, my 2nd generation iPod nano which is over 6 years old, STILL has the plastic on it! :) This means my whole Fifth-Third 5k, I can listen to music... it was either buy a new one or try to run the rest of the summers 5ks in 15 minutes! I don't know about that!!!

Jack also got spoiled this weekend... not only getting a nice long walk on Sunday but got 3 kinds of treats and 2 new bones! With spring here, our poor grass needs every chance it can get to look nice and green... so Jack now gets once a day a "pee biscuit"! This yummy hard as a rock treat tastes like peanut butter and is suppose to help naturalize his urine. Crossing our fingers that this year our grass gets a chance!

Last but not least... our whole household is SO happy that our Detroit Tigers are back on! We are so happy that the boys of the house are watching them through their eyelids! ;)
Happy Monday!
